Say Hello To Stackable Today!
What Is Stackable?
Stackable is a WordPress plugin for the Gutenberg editor and brings a massive new collection of blocks.
The blocks can then be used to extend your WordPress and are immediately ready to use.
Of course, the Gutenberg Editor has its own stash of blocks that you can use to create almost any basic element your website might need.
However, with Stackable — which is a third-party plugin — you get a much larger selection that brings even more advanced features.
Best of all, the plugin — developed by Gambit Technologies, Inc. — offers a free version and you can start using it right away.
However, if you upgrade to the premium version, you will enjoy the full potential of this plugin. The paid version comes with 66 premium layouts and gives you full control over the appearance of each block.
Now you might be wondering, is the plugin really so good that it deserves all the praise? We can confirm that it does.
But you don’t have to take our word for it — you can see for yourself in the next part of this review.

Stackable Review — Blocks
Now we know what Stackable costs, what you actually get in terms of blocks with the plugin, because that’s what really matters, and as mentioned above, there are a total of 31 (as of this writing!) to choose from. on your WordPress site.

- Add up
- Design Library
- Expand / Show more
- Label icon
- Image Box
- Number box
- Video popup
- Call to action

The block selection is very good, and while the selection may look similar to other block plugins, what sets Stackable apart is the amount of design and customization options for each block, even if you’re using a free plugin.
Personally, I started using Stackable because of the price box because the options from other plugins were either clunky or looked very simple, but that’s not a problem with Stackable block, it’s very easy to use and as mentioned above, the customization options mean you have several different price tables that all look different.
This led me to look at the other blocks that Stackable offered and I soon found myself using their blocks either over the standard Gutenberg ones or with those offered by other plugins.
Now, while the selection of blocks is very good, there are two options that I would like to add to the Stackable selection, which is the schema-enabled and content control blocks, as they are both very useful for bloggers and very popular. blocks with other plugins.

Stackable Review — Conclusion
WP Stackable’s design options are great because they allow you to get sites up and running and make good-looking sites easy.
This is especially true if you are already familiar with the Gutenberg block editor.
But keep in mind that while it may trump page builders’ inconvenience, it has some limitations, including being tied to the theme, footer, and header styles. Stackables cannot be used to modify these key elements.
It has certain strengths and weaknesses. For example, I found that its competitor, PostX, has better post blocks, and sometimes I had to use basic WordPress blocks to achieve what I needed.
So I guess what I’m saying is that Stackables is good, but you should be aware that it may not be a one-stop solution. You may need to supplement it with additional plugins or some backend work in PHP (ugh).
